I am not a person who loves to read, but I can say that I read every day at anytime I want. My reading habits are not really good because I usually read whenever I feel I like to read. I can read at noon or at evening or even midnight. I like to read newspaper by going online. Because it is very convenient and fast. It also has more interesting then read on the book. I can see a lot of attractive information show up on my window. it also helps save so much money because I do not have to spend my money to buy newspaper. I always go online everyday to search the news. that is a easy way for me to find the new things to read. When I was in Vietnam, I read a lot of novel and comic strip. I love to read all that stuff. because I feel relax. it helps me free my mind. I also read some news on the internet to know what happen in the world. But when I came to the US, I don't usually read because my vocabulary very poor and it makes me feel very stress and boring too.
But I will try to read every day by English to improve my reading skills.
Hopefully I can do it as soon as I can.

Hi Nga. You and me have the same habit. I seldom to read book, even it is Vietnamese book. However, when I go to college, I recognize the important of reading. Reading plays an important role by build up vocabulary, grammar, and style of reading. I hope you can find the right way to read and improve your vocabulary. Try your best. I think you can do it. ReplyDeleteHi Nga. you and me have the same situation in Vietnam because I used to read the comic strip a lot when I have free time. However, since I came to the US, I realize the importance of English in both speaking and reading. Therefore, I tried to practice by reading comic strip in English online to improve my vocabulary in speaking.

DeleteI do not like reading too. In my free time I listening music by English but I do not understand it at all, I’m also reading during I am listening but I just read some comic books or some novels in the Internet because I could not find any books by my language. Sometimes I tried to read some teenager’s book, but my vocabulary does not enough to understand everything, so I had to look up in the dictionary that made me lazy because it took me a long time. >,<
