Final Week

After getting writing 5 class done, I have gathered a lot of new knowledge from Bonnie. Firstly, this class was more  difficult than I think. I was shocked when I received my first grade in my essay. This was the worst grade that I have ever had in my life. However, my grade was improved day by day. I learned a lot of new things in writing 5 class. When I studied in writing 4 class, I did not know references. But now, I knew it, and I also know how to use it in my essay. I could use the information in the articles. So, I can write a quote, and paraphrase to make my argument  essay stronger. In addition, my writing skills were improved so much because I have many tasks to write like comments, blog, or essay. Moreover, I did not know that they have writing center in the library before and I never use the benefits from the writing center. Now I know it, and I probably take advantages from this. It is going to help me a lot for my next class. Hopefully, everybody in my writing 5 class has a great holiday. I wish everyone will be success in the long run. :):)

Week 12

Writing center is the best place for me to improve my writing. I have some experience in writing center. There are two ways for me to communicate with writing center. there are face-to-face and online. in my opinion, I prefer to choose the face-to-face method. The last time i went to writing center, I met Nancy. She was really nice and kind. After reading my essay, she showed me my mistakes, and she helped me correct my essay. She also explained what kind of mistake that I got, so I can see it and not do it wrong again. It is easy way to learn. that is wonderful because i can develop my writing skills easier. Online is also good but you have to wait several days to get feedback. Or sometimes they have a lot of papers you have to wait a week to get a result. So for me, face-to-face is the best way for me because it is convenient, fast, and easier.

week 11

I did not write any journal before in my life. This is the first time I write a journal, and also i have my own blog. This is very interesting and helpful a lot for me. Because I can improve my writing skill by trying to write about all the topics that my teacher gave me. That is pretty cool. Because she gave me many interesting issues to write about. i can write about everything without worrying about grammars or vocabulary. it also helps me build many experiences to prepare for my job in the future because i think my job is going to need a lot of writing. I am so happy and enjoy this blog. Thanks to my teacher a lot because she created a great way to make my writing skill develop much easier. 

Week 10

Today, I just visited the website which names www.wordandphrase. and my result is pretty bad, i think. :( According to the result, I can see that my common words (1-500) are 74%, it is a big quantity in my essay. That means i have to improve my academic vocabulary more and more. Academic word (501-3000) in my article is 11%, when comparing to the common words, I just want to cry. Because almost I only used simple words in my essay. :( But my low frequency words is 15% in my article that makes me feel a little bit better now. :) That result does not make me surprise because I know my ability to writing. I am not good in writing, even in my native language. I think, i should take more time to learn new academic, and complex words to improve my writing skills.:):)

WEEK 8

Males and females are different in may ways that we may know. But did we know that which factor is more important to distinct gender role. In my opinion, culture is more important to shape gender role than biology. In my culture, the way women were taught is more gentle than males. They expect to stay home, and they make the home going well. They also talk more than men when they at home. Because they want to share their stories, and they want to make their relationship with people who they are living closer. females claim more than males because they feel more confident and happier to share their experiences when they at home. In contrast, men don't talk like women. they tend to keep quite when they at home because they think it is better to let one person talkative at home. if both of husband and wife are talk a lot, nobody can hear each other. So keeping quite is the best choice for them. That is my opinion. How about you? what do you think about that issue? 

WEEK 7

I wonder what will happen to me in ten years later from now. that is going to be great if it happen right exactly the same what i am imagining right now. if i can, i wish i will become a nursing to help and take care of people in need. because it is what i dreamed when i was a kid,and it is still in my mind. it becomes bigger day by day, and i believe that i will get it in one day not so far. In addition, i also want to go to many poor countries where have a lot people need my helping. I think at that time I have all opportunities, time, and financial to go there and help them. It will be wonderful, if i become a volunteer. Because when i see people happy I feel like I am happier than them a lot. For me, success is very simple, that i have a happy family, and i can do everything i can to assist people need help. :):)

week 6

when I was in high school, I used to have library card. My friends and I usually went to visit library twice or three times a week. The library in my school is very small, but it has a lot of interesting books. we often went to library because it is free for student. Also they have many good books that I want to read. They have a lot of text books, so I could rent it to study very easy and cheap. That helped save a lot of money. When I came to the US, I don't have library card. because the school that I am studying now not require students have to have library card. But I still can visit library very often, it is very convenient for me. the library in my school and in my old school are very different. They have so may computers in here, so students can use computer to study. the library in here is very develop with modern technology. but in my country, the library does not have a lot of computer. they just have books and tables for students to sit and read. In my opinion, people in my country are not visit library very often. Because people do not have enough time or conditions to go to library, only students go there to improve their studying.
